Former pupil (Mum) takes school tour with current staff (her daughter)
Mum, Abigail Church, boarder in the late 1970's, has a different perspective of the school to her daughter, Emily Allison, currently a Gap student at Walhampton.

On Tuesday we were delighted to welcome back Abigail Church for a tour around the school. Abigail boarded at Walhampton in the late 1970's to early 1980's and is sister to Sam Church, whose name is still featured on our scholarship boards.
Abigail, who now lives in South Africa, sent the school a request to see if her daughter, Emily, could have a place as a Gap student at the school, and very happily we were able to offer her one.
Emily is one of our team of four Gap students who greatly support the school, assisting in academic and sporting activities as well as boarding life.
Abigail enjoyed her tour around the school and was daring enough to venture into the staff common room, visit the boys boarding house and even walk down the main stairs (all strictly forbidden in Abigail's day) much to the amusement of her daughter!
Warm smiles and nostalgic tears at Walhampton's first official alumni reunion.
