We are sad to announce that a linchpin of Walhampton in the 1990s, Marc van Hasselt, passed away on 28th June 2017, aged 93.

Marc was the Chairman of the Board of Governors at Walhampton and helped to oversee the merger with Hordle House school in 1997.

He had a distinguished career as a soldier and then a school master with his final appointment being Head Master at Cranleigh School.

In his retirement he lived in Keyhaven with his wife Tessa and was a keen sailor.
