With feet finally on firm ground former Hordle Walhampton pupil Greg Bailey declared it “a crazy trip….53 of the hardest days of our lives. Crushed in the first week when our water maker broke and we had to hand pump” but that he and his half brother Jude Massey were “Still the best of friends”.

At 19 years old, Jude now enters the Guinness Book of Records for being the youngest person to row any ocean in a pair!

We hope that Greg will come in to school to talk to the children about their incredible journey.

Watch their emotional homecoming on Ocean Brothers Facebook page and it’s not too late to show your support for their charity - Skin Cancer Research. The boys have raised nearly £87k towards their £100k goal. Another impressive achievement!
